When reading through my archives about six months ago (I do that at least once a year, generally, to make sure I keep good consistency), I got to Strip #115, and froze.  How could that mermaid be using transportation magic, in human form?  Answer: she couldn't!  Aaaaaa!  Of course, I remembered that the characters had all assumed X had transformed the mermaid permanently, as had I.  But that didn't fit with how unusual Cecelia's transformation was, or with X's chosen magical specialty.
