Yes, Arabella's studying to be a witch!  Some fantasy stories -- such as Harry Potter -- designate "witch" and "wizard" as gender nouns (like "woman" and "man") for the same thing.  This is not the case in Aylia's world, on either count.  Witches and wizards use completely different systems of magic, and either gender can use either magical type.  I haven't done much with witches aside from mentioning they exist, however (see Strip #122 and Strip #125), which is something I need to change.
