So here she is, the first mermaid introduced, now with a name!  (Sheepish grin.)  She also has an outfit now, which she didn't before . . . when I first introduced her, because I hadn't intended to make her a continuing character and hadn't done any worldbuilding on mermaid society, I didn't even bother to draw her as a mermaid (we first saw her in this strip).  Which means that this strip was the first one ever actually showing a mermaid.  And now, this marks the third different fin shape we've seen.
