Now, Aylia isn't stupid, so once she understands that Linnea has to have a practical demonstration of magic before she'll believe it exists, she would start thinking furiously about possible spells she could cast that wouldn't get her in trouble with Aunt Tilia, or her father.  Translation magic would be the ideal choice for this purpose, since it would provide solid proof that Linnea couldn't dismiss as mere delusion or trickery, as well as not being flashy or obvious to anyone that it's not cast on.
