Aylia has something of a mean streak sometimes, and she's never really liked Nicole.  Not that she actively dislikes Nicole most of the time, but I could see her deciding that ex-roommate deserves to deal with just a little bit of Stefanee in her life.  As for Nicole, she's noticed a fairly accurate trend by this point: people who seem bizarre who just run into her all seem to be connected with Aylia in some way.  Poor Nicole, getting assigned to Aylia as one of her first roommates!  (Evil grin.)
