Aylia would naturally be the main target of Loretta's wrath about this, since she was the first person Loretta met who could use magic, and she's also the person who uses it most in their apartment.  And of course Loretta would assume Aylia'd known she could have been learning it all this time, so she'd jump to the conclusion that Aylia had been deliberately excluding her.  Which would mystify Aylia -- that book she mentions is one of Adelaide's, not one she's access to for years.
