We've also seen Eric once before, way back in Strip #926 and Strip #927.  He wasn't a character I intended to introduce -- just like Reg, he decided he was going to be an important character after I drew him that first time, even though he was originally just supposed to be some background person.  Why do characters keep doing this to me?  If you count Professor Witzig, this makes the third time some random male person has done this!  Perhaps it's a hint that I need more male characters.  ^_^'
