And here's the part of her that's based on Charlie!  I've mentioned before that I'm part of my university's medieval club -- well, so is Charlie, and she has a big thing for swords.  Of course, so does my sister -- Liz in love with Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin, and half of it's because of his sword.  Sisters!  Anyway, like I said, Loretta is fun.  I was so glad when I could finally draw her into the strip!  I'd had her character designs floating around for a year before I could.
