I finally got to introduce Loretta in this strip!  I'd had her character planned out since around Strip #100 -- of course, my original ideas for her were as off-base as my original ideas for X, but I've still known about her for awhile.  She's roughly based on my friend Charlie, but also on one of my sisters, Elizabeth -- Charlie because she's the one who put me on the right track with Loretta's character (like Crystal did with X), and Liz because, well, it happens.
