Ahh, Aylia and Corinn!  This conversation came out of my desire to get Corinn and Elsseran back to Umbria, and their stubborn refusal to pay attention to my wishes.  (Corinn, mainly.  Like his daughter and his younger brother, he is so pigheaded.)  I couldn't work out why Corinn was being so stubborn in his refusal, so I decided to get him and Aylia talking so he'd explain why.  Turns out he has some very good reasons -- two mentioned here, which I knew about, and another later that I didn't.
