An interesting note about Reg's character that may not be obvious at first glance: He's a human.  From our world.  There are a lot of things common to werewolves from Felincia's mother's culture -- such as hunting all the time for food -- that aren't nearly as culturally acceptable here.  Reg isn't interested in looking or acting macho, and his family's never been short of food, so he's never had any particular interest in hunting before.  Which makes for an amusing reversal, since his wife loves it.
