The interesting thing is, I always intended for this turn of events to happen -- but I originally had much weaker reasons for them.  I knew Daria was going to be Aylia's fourth semester roommate from the moment I first drew her character design (about six months before she showed up in the actual strip, I'd say), and I realized on that same day -- pretty much at the same time -- that she'd also end up at the wizarding school, probably again following Aylia's lead.
