So, by the time I reached this strip, things were going well.  Counselor Tranin had the great idea of them working together, she asked Alassa, and . . . Alassa reacted as I should have realized she would.  (Bangs head on desk.)  That girl is so exasperatingly stubborn sometimes!  But, of course, she hasn't changed much since Strip #607 -- her snobbery and egotism are as bloated as ever.  The thought that any commoner might be useful to her still hasn't penetrated her thick skull.  Stupid, stupid Alassa!
