This strip practically wrote itself.  (Grin.)  Of course, I did change the script of the third panel several times before I was satisfied with it (Loretta had to mention swords, referring to her obsession with them, in some way that sounded natural), but other than that, the strip was just so obvious that I had to do it.  It is true, you see, that Aylia's mother might well have approved of Loretta, as long as swords weren't mentioned; Loretta does seem to be, on the surface, the most sane and normal of them all.
