Aylia, as we know from magic she's thrown around on people who bother her in the past, does not always fully think through the implications of her retaliations.  Back in Strip #111, she certainly believed love potions were a bad idea, but she wasn't so devoted to that idea that she wouldn't let Nicole bother her out of a recipe.  On the other hand, though Aylia did give her a recipe, she deliberately gave Nicole the weakest recipe she knew of, though she didn't mention that to Nicole.
