The funny thing is, my original concept of Stefanee didn't include the idea that she would keep her species a secret.  I originally just planned for her to go around in human form most of the time, that being the whole extent of her shapeshifting!  But Stefanee's real-life counterpart suggested that she have fairy and Gorgon forms, too (an obvious detail I should have thought of myself!), and then we both came up with the idea that she would keep her real species a secret, because it would drive people mad.
