I'll admit, this strip was a blatant attempt to create a front view of Daria for the characters page.  I did create a front view of her earlier, in Strip #1,075, but I didn't want to use that for her character picture, since she's wearing her hat there, and I wanted her character picture to be her without it.  So I schemed out ideas for a natural-seeming strip with Daria in a front view without her hat, and I'm pleased with the way this one turned out.  Yay for fun ideas that work!
