I'm not sure how well this strip turned out, script-wise.  I've twiddled with it at least eight times, and I still don't think it comes out quite as I wanted.  But oh, well.  Basically, Daria's looking for a logical reason, Loretta doesn't have one, and Loretta gets annoyed when Daria keeps asking a question she felt she had answered sufficiently.  I wanted to show that they aren't getting along perfectly just because they're getting along, and that Daria can find other people mystifying a lot of times.
