Felincia's mother is a born werewolf, as implied back in Strip #833.  And Lycanth has been mentioned before, though I don't think I've ever openly connected it to werewolves.  Lycanth is where almost all werewolves live, and it's xenophobic, tribal, and unfriendly.  Most misconceptions about werewolves are a product of that Lycanthrope attitude towards outsiders, and the fact that few people outside of Lycanth have ever met one.  Umbria is one of the countries that shares a border with Lycanth.
