I haven't brought up this part of Cecelia's personality before, but it is a significant one.  She never planned to wind up a single mom at the age of twenty, after all, much less a single mom raising a baby of a species she barely knows anything about, and becoming a member of that species herself.  Of course she wants to find Mr. Right and get married eventually, just like she always has!  She just has no idea whether that would even be possible now, which frightens her.
