I remember when I first decided I wanted to have a Child of Prophecy (playing around with the idea, of course), because all fantasy stories seem to -- and figured it would have to be Aylia, because she's the main character.  Shortly after that, however, it occured to me that it would make more sense if it wasn't Aylia -- and was, instead, another person who had a lot of characteristics in common with her.  Hopefully I've surprised at least a few people with this!  :D
