Did Aylia ever mention that she's from Umbria to Alexis?  No, she didn't.  Which means Alexis probably found out the name of the kingdom while she was at the wedding with her sister.  Of course that doesn't explain why her mother would react so strongly to the name, especially since there aren't any fairy kingdoms close enough to Umbria that it would mean much to just any black fairy.  Hmmm . . .
