Ever since drawing Strip #196, I've wanted to draw a storyline introducing one of X's old roommates.  After all, they'd all be strange people, and strange without being magical.  However, I didn't want to make any of them important characters, just a sort of side note to X's past, so I had to figure out what kind of people she'd had as roommates, and which one would be most likely to reappear in their lives.
