So Alassa's ruled out!  She's not intelligent -- she's really not intelligent -- so that leaves Aylia as the child of prophecy.  No one else fits the requirements, after all, including Albert's sister (who does have blood of the Umbrian house, but isn't a child of two worlds, and is definitely not one of two sisters).  Of course, that isn't a great thought for Aylia either . . . just because she doesn't want Alassa to be the child of prophecy doesn't mean she wants it any more herself.  Poor Aylia . . .
