And now you get to meet Loretta's mother!  I actually hadn't designed her character before I came to this strip, so I wound up having to erase several tries at the first panel before I got her right.  I like the way she wound up looking!  She looks mom-like, but also like Loretta and Lionel, which is what I was aiming for.  I still have no idea what their dad looks like, though . . . he's going to be a hard one to design, I think.  (Sigh.)
