This is a strip I've planned to stick in somewhere for a long time.  Well, all right, the punchline was spontaneous (why are all my favorite punchlines like that?), but I've wanted to explain how Aylia's spells work for awhile, and this strip provided a great opportunity to do that.  She does have to learn and study -- magic isn't something she can do without thinking; she's good enough at it that she makes it seem like she can.
