Hee hee . . . sarcasm never does work with X.  You'd think Jenny would have figured this out by now, but nooo . . . X is essentially a straightforward person, and though I'm pretty sure she catches sarcasm (X tends to notice -- and figure out -- a lot more than she lets on), she also doesn't see any reason to react to it.  Or any reason to even care about it, for that matter -- so she ignores it.  X is fun!
