Anyway, I used to go out of my way to get out of group projects -- I'd beg the teacher to let me do something on my own, and if they'd say no, I'd try to be the odd one out if at all possible.  Then I'd have to do the project on my own anyway!  This caused problems sometimes (why did all my teachers have to claim I was bad at social interaction?), but I preferred to do things on my own, even if there were people in whichever class that I liked.  Which was rare.
