Classic X and Aylia reactions to annoyances!  X just shrugs the idea of a date off, and brings her chemistry equipment with her . . . sure, she won't be at home, but that doesn't mean she has to stop doing what she wants to do.  She obviously doesn't care one way or another about going.  Aylia, on the other hand, storms off and hides in a closet, refusing to come out.  You'd think Jenny would realize trying to force a wizard to do something she doesn't want to do is a bad idea, but nooo . . .
