This strip -- and the ones following it -- are the reason I had to wait until after introducing Felinica to do this series.  I had this one all scripted and ready for drawing long before that one, too!  Ironic how those things happen.  But then again, I frequently get ideas for my comic strip that are so far ahead in the future that I won't be able to do them for months -- I know what's going to happen a year in the future, comic strip time, and it's probably going to take me years to get to that point from now!
